F. Neil Folks Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Membership Registry
Mr. Folks recognized for humanitarian work as Spiritual Chaplain and Bereavement Companion
CRAIG, CO, September 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- F. Neil Folks, Spiritual Chaplain for Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse (COMA) and Bereavement Companion for the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurses Association, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of spiritual services.
Possessing seven years of practiced expertise in grief counseling, spiritual services and addiction counseling, F. Neil Folks is recognized for his humanitarian work and mentorship. Through COMA, he offers spiritual services as part of a proactive approach to methamphetamine identification, education and rehabilitation. He draws upon his experience in law enforcement, teaching youth and offering spiritual guidance. Mr. Folks also serves as a bereavement companion at a residential care center through the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurses Association, Inc.
Honored with the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Spiritual Services in January, 2009, and the Cambridge Who's Who 'Top Industry Expert' title in 2008, Mr. Folks attributes his success to his understanding of the human condition. This understanding comes as a result of extensive education and community involvement. In addition to a master of science, Mr. Folks holds a certification in death and loss and a certification in releasing emotional patterns. He is the chairman of the Moffat County Council on Aging, and maintains active membership with numerous community organizations such as the Area Agency on Aging, the Craig Chapter of the Freemasons of Colorado, Love, Inc. Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society and Center for Action and Contemplation.
Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and rehabilitation to the meth-addicted community.
