Pat Moore Foundation Announces Two Sober Living Houses
Two gender specific sober living homes open under the care and guidance of Pat Moore Foundation.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA, March 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pat Moore Foundation, a renowned alcohol and drug treatment facility located in Costa Mesa, California, has recently opened two low costs, gender specific, sober living homes in Southern California.

Sober living is transitional housing for recovering alcoholics and addicts who have completed at least a thirty day alcohol and other drug treatment program. The goal of a sober living house is to create and maintain an environment where sobriety is first and foremost. The process of an alcohol or other drug treatment program often needs further development, and the person will need further sober maturity before fully living back in society again. In most cases, actual treatment does not occur on residence, but there are extra efforts to prevent substance abuse relapse. Attending Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous meetings is encouraged.

"We at Pat Moore Foundation understand that in order to achieve long-term sobriety the person needs to be involved with other 'like-minded' people," says Phil Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Pat Moore Foundation. "Moving into a sober living environment is a safe move, the decision allows the individual sobriety to become less individual but more a group effort."

The men's sober living home is located in Costa Mesa, near Triangle Square and Newport Beach. The cost is $150/week and amenities include; cable television, Internet access, phone, an onsite manager, and onsite laundry facilities. The women's sober living home is located in South Coast Metro, near South Coast Plaza and is a gated community. The cost is $150/week and amenities include; pool, workout room, cable television, and onsite laundry facilities.
