Dedicated Executive Director Of Non-Profit Agency Receives Membership Into Stanford Who's Who
Dr. LeRoy Wm. Nattress Jr. has been accepted by Stanford Who's Who to the ranks of premier professionals for his extraordinary work in the area of Human Services.
CLAREMONT, CA, January 15, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Dr. LeRoy Wm. Nattress Jr. has been accepted by Stanford Who's Who to the ranks of premier professionals for his extraordinary work in the area of Human Services. As the Executive Director of Services Center for Independent Living, he has consistently demonstrated an extreme level of dedication.
The Services Center for Independent Living was established in 1980. It is a non-profit agency that works with disabled individuals of all ages in Southeast Los Angeles County as well as the East San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. They provide a variety of services including self-advocacy training, assistive technology, a registry of sign language interpreters, housing information and peer counseling.
Dr. Nattress earned a PhD in Human Services from Walden University. He is a member of the American Public Health Association, American Psychological Association and the National Council on Independent Living.
In his spare time, Dr. Nattress is involved with the Boy Scouts and Learning for Life. He regularly attends church and loves to write.
