Jennifer Watts Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Jennifer Watts is known for her determination and ability to think outside the box
HAMPTON, VA, December 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jennifer Watts, Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Student at Capella University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in therapy.
A marriage and family therapy graduate student at Capella University, Ms. Watts is studying counseling. She is a military veteran, an Air Force spouse and the proud mother of three children. Her goal is to effectively counsel military families, as she has a quick mind and a calming influence on others. She became involved in her profession because her father was a Vietnam veteran who was treated for post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disease. As she observed the care he received, she became interested in counseling as a way to help people make behavioral changes.
Ms. Watts is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Psychological Association. In 1998, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Campbellsville University. She received an Air Force Achievement Medal from the U.S. Air Force in 2002.
