EDMONTON, AB, CANADA, April 3, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ron Yakimishyn to the ranks of premier professionals due to his incredible work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. As President of Framed Expressions as well as Peter the Positive Panda, he has spent the past 30 plus years working diligently to provide motivation and entertainment to others.
Framed Expressions provides customers with 52 individual quotations from some of the world's greatest political and religious leaders, scholars and humanitarians. Each set of 52 motivational or scriptural quotations are captured within an oak frame, and printed on parchment paper. The product is designed to inspire and motivate customers by the spoken words of inspirational individuals every day of every week of the year.
Ron Yakimishyn and his brother Eugene founded the company to market its "Framed Expressions" program. Allied West Expressions Ltd. was established February 6, 1982, in Edmonton, Alberta and incorporated on January 28, 1983. The corporate logo designed in 1985 and the trade name "Framed Expressions" was established and is used today. Their goal is today and has always been to motivate and inspire individuals and corporations through the power of positive thought.
Peter the Positive Panda represents an educational program for children, ages 3 and up. It supplies children with information about their feelings, relationship with others, and their future as positive, realistic adults. The first element of this program comprises of a coloring poster kit, relating to the 22 specific themes. The program utilizes spaced repetition to reinforce creative and positive attitudes in children. These important themes have a life-long effect on children.
Peter the Positive Panda utilizes the seven keystones of childhood development as the platform for his early childhood development program. These keystones are self concept, social development, emotional development, intellectual development, creative arts, physical development and nutrition. Through 30 minute long self awareness seminars, Peter The Positive Panda introduces the theme and teaches the children affirmation that accompanies the theme.
As if this was all not enough already, Ron is also a professional realtor. Ron uses a combination of innovative marketing strategies and the internet to assist buyers and sellers alike with their real estate needs. He shares his outstanding knowledge of the local market as well as numerous other areas of expertise with clients to assist them with a wide variety of needs such as financing, home repairs, decorating, gardening.
During his educational career, Ron attended the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and the Edmonton World Trade Center. Ron has been published in the Edmonton Journal and Edmonton Sun. He is currently working on the development and sale of a 32 unit condo and looks forward to the continuing growth and expansion of his Framed Expressions company.
