RANCHO DE TAOS, NM, May 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Teri Kent, Owner of A Beautiful Brain, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in therapy.
While working for FEMA following the Hurricane Katrina disaster, Ms. Kent developed a black mold infection in her lungs. Unsatisfied with the limited effects of her antibiotics, she underwent a series of brain optimization sessions instead. This experience proved to be highly positive and inspired Ms. Kent to establish her own brain training practice, A Beautiful Brain.
Ms. Kent, who is a certified neurofeedback technician, uses brain map interpretations to help individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, sleep deprivation, weight loss issues, Alzheimer's, and attention deficit disorder and much more. Thankful for her success, she hopes to continue her education in the future. Having completed a Master of Science in human services with a specialization in the management of non-profit agencies and coursework in psychology, she intends to earn a Ph.D. in transformative studies and teach in a university setting.
A Beautiful Brain is a private practice that provides therapeutic services through Brain State Conditioning. This process helps individuals balance their brain waves and in turn alleviate a number of wellness issues. For more information, visit http://abeautifulbrain.net.
